A Simple Childs Raglan 8 ply Round Neck Jumper

by Kathy Priest
(Queensland, Australia)

I found this pattern very easy to knit and was very happy with the end result.

Hi Kathy

Your jumper is beautiful. I especially like the embroidery you have add to the neck - it makes your jumper unique!

Is it the pattern available on this site?

If so, I am am glad that you found the pattern useful. It is one of my favourite patterns, I tend to use it over and over again but I modify it slightly each time!

It can be adapted quite easily to incorporate textured patterns, stripes or lace. I have used it for simple cable jumpers (for more complex cable patterns you need to adjust the number of stitches), and I have even used it to make school jumpers in Fisherman's Rib for my children.

Congratulations on completing your jumper - a job very well done!

Notice the different look and feel on some pages?

I am currently moving all of the pages to a new CSS driven template but with around 700 pages it is going to take me a while to get it done.

So in the meantime, I hope you will forgive the switch from one look to another as you navigate through the site...
