Modern Classic Baby Knits in Dreamtime 4 Ply

As with the Big Baby Pattern Book, I actually have this pattern book in my own collection and use it fairly regularly.

This pattern book has eighteen different styles of sweaters and cardigans in a range of sizes - to fit babies from 0 to 18 months old.

You have a choice between round neck, v neck, or boat neck. There is a pattern for a bolero, a jumper with a hood, and one with a collar.

About half of the patterns in the book are rated easy and use only basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns and simple sampling and finishing.

The remainder of the patterns are rated Intermediate for when you have gained more experience and confidence with your knitting.

Don't worry if you are a beginner, this pattern book also has a 'Learn to Knit Insert' for those new to knitting.

Although the pattern book is designed for Dreamtime 4 ply, you can substitute other 4 ply yarns providing you check your tension before you start.

If you are anything like me, you are not going to want to buy a baby knitting pattern book unless you can have a look at the designs that are included in the book.

Obviously, I think this pattern book is worth buying - after all I did buy it!

Needles and Accessories

All of the patterns in this book are made up using 2.75mm and 3.25mm knitting needles. You might also like to look into buying a couple of stitch holders, and you will need a wool needle for sewing your garment together.
