2nd row purl.
***1st and 2nd rows set raglan and neck shappings.
Work
15:23:26:29 rows dec 1 st at raglan edge as before in next and every foll alt row AT SAME TIME dec 1 st at neck edge in
3rd:2nd:2nd:2nd and every foll
4th:3rd:3rd:3rd row. {4:4:5:5} sts.
Can you explain to me how to do from the *** to the end?
YOUR ANSWER
1st and 2nd rows set raglan and neck shapings. This basically means that you do the decreases on each decrease row in the same way they are done in these rows.
Work[15:23:26:29 rows dec 1 st at raglan edge as before in next and every foll alt row AT SAME TIME dec 1 st at neck edge in
3rd:2nd:2nd:2nd and every foll
4th:3rd:3rd:3rd row. {4:4:5:5} sts.]
You decrease the same way the decrease was done in row 1 on the raglan edge every second row. And at the same time you decrease 1 st at the neck edge.
So assuming you are knitting the first size and this is the left front, your instructions would translate as:
Row 1: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit to end.
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit last 2 stitches, k2tog.
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit to end.
Row 6: Purl
Row 7: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit last 2 stitches, k2tog.
Row 8: Purl
Row 9: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit to end.
Row 10: Purl
Row 11: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit last 2 stitches, k2tog.
Row 12: Purl
Row 13: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit to end.
Row 14: Purl
Row 15: K1,sl,k1,psso, knit last 2 stitches, k2tog.
