Creating Knitting Graphs

Looking for a Dallas Cowboy NFL Logo to stitch into scarf.
I want to knit a scarf for my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves the Dallas Cowboys.
I have searched the internet and cannot find a pattern that shows how to incorporate the logo into a scarf or hat. If I had a pattern I could do it without any problems.
Can you help me?

If you can't find a pattern for the logo on the internet, you are probably going to have to create one of your own. Don't worry, it is not as hard as it seems!
I had a quick look and the Dallas Cowboys logo is probably one of the easiest to turn into a knitting pattern as it is an easy shape to draw.
First you need to get yourself some graph paper. Then you draw the outline of the star or pentagon on your paper using a ruler.
It might take a couple of attempts to get the shape you want - keep trying until you are happy with the result. Then you color in the blocks within the lines. For the blocks that are cut by the lines, color any that are more within the shape than outside of it.
With a new color go around the star shape and color in a one block outline. Then you do the same with the main color.
Each block within your design is one stitch, so do not make your drawing too big. When you are finishing coloring in you made yourself a knitting graph.
To knit the design you start at the bottom - each row in the graph corresponds to a row in your garment. The first row is knitted from the right to the left on the graph, the second row is knitted from the left to the right.
Then you just continue knitting in the colors shown in your graph until you have completed the design.
Hope this helps.
