gauge and sizes

If a pattern calls for 5 sts per inch, and I only get 4sts per inch, will my garment be smaller or larger than the pattern calls for, if I use my gauge of 4sts per inch.

YOUR ANSWER

It will be smaller. You can either make the garment in a larger size (but there can be issues with shaping if you do) or use a size bigger needles to get the correct gauge.

Notice the different look and feel on some pages?

I am currently moving all of the pages to a new CSS driven template but with around 700 pages it is going to take me a while to get it done.

So in the meantime, I hope you will forgive the switch from one look to another as you navigate through the site...
