Just knitted a leg warmer

Hi,

I just knitted a leg warmer and it's turned out to be too big even after I felted it and shrunk it for the person I'm making them for. I'm wondering if it's possible to split the leg warmer in half and make it into two leg warmers. Is this possible and how would i do it??? Or do I have to throw this one out and start over?

Thanks!

Do you have a sewing machine? If you have felted the leg warmer really well you should be able to cut it without your knitting unravelling.

But to be safe I would run two lines of zig-zag stitching (or a similar stitch) down either side of the place you want to cut first.

I am currently moving all of the pages to a new CSS driven template but with around 700 pages it is going to take me a while to get it done.

So in the meantime, I hope you will forgive the switch from one look to another as you navigate through the site...
