knit 2 stitches together

on a left needle of knit 2 together how do I knit the stitch on the next row?

There are 2 loops on my left needle, do I stitch each loop or stitch both together.

YOUR ANSWER

I am not sure what you mean. When you knit 2 together you should only end up with one loop on the needle not two.

To do a k2tog, you insert the right hand needle into the front of the next two stitches on the left hand needle starting with the second stitch first. The needle should go through both stitches with the point at the back.

You wrap the yarn around the point and draw it through both loops on the needle to form one stitch.
