Knitted Toy Pattern for Sacboy

Hi I was wondering if you could find a pattern to look exactly like the picture below, or even make it yourself.

I've been looking all over but cannot find a pattern like it. I do not like the Alan Dart Pattern much.

From what you have said in your question I am assuming that this is an Alan Dart Design?

I have had a look in my knitting pattern collection and can't find a pattern that is even close to this one. If I were to do a search it would be on the internet and probably I would be doing exactly the same type of search that you have done. I did find a couple of leads for you - see the links below.

In your position I would probably do as you have suggested and make up a pattern of my own and while I would love to do it for you I just don't have the time. Each pattern I design takes a long time, and I generally have to knit each one several times until I am happy with the shape and the instructions. The last pattern I designed (Baby's First Teddy Bear) took me about a month and that was knitting and writing non-stop in very free minute of very day.

The other issue is one of copyright. This toy has been designed by someone else (Alan Dart presumably) and it would not be right to just copy it.

So if I did design one it I would want to make it different - so that it was my own design and not a copy of someone else's work.
