Knitting a jacket - Ending a specific row

Hi there,

I have encounter a pattern which in one of the rows, it states 'Begin working Chart A, ending with st no. 7 14, 21, 28, 14, 28' (refer to link below for the chart).

I need to seek your expertise as what it meant by 'ending with st no. 7?

This is the link where the pattern can be found:-

Hi Vivien

When pattern designers create charts for multi-sized patterns they provide instructions for where to start on the chart for each size.

You generally begin on row 1 starting with the block specified, in this case for the first size you start at stitch 7 on row 1 and knit each stitch on your row to match the chart. For the first row (the right side row) you knit from right to left on the chart. Wrong side rows are knitted from the left side of the chart to the right.

Although there seems to be a problem with this particular chart as there are not 10 stitches between 0 and 10. There should be two more columns on the right hand side of the chart.

Notice the different look and feel on some pages?

I am currently moving all of the pages to a new CSS driven template but with around 700 pages it is going to take me a while to get it done.

So in the meantime, I hope you will forgive the switch from one look to another as you navigate through the site...
