Knitting Essentials

Knitting EssentialsKnitting Essentials is an instructional guide to knitting that looks at the basic techniques and provides a library of the most versatile knitting stitches.

I have several stitch pattern books in my collection but this is the one I turn to time and time again.

Personally, I think it is good value for money particularly if you want to customise your knitting.

Want to know what I think?

This is a reasonable 'starter' book with clear instructions and some helpful information on the history of knitting and selecting the right yarn among other things. If you buy this book you will also be signed up to receive a mini e-course which will arrive in your mailbox daily.

But to be quite frank, unless you prefer your reference material in an electronic format, or you want it right now, your money would be better spent on one of the hard cover books on this page.
