Knitting Classes

Are you looking for knitting classes in the southern suburbs of Adelaide?

Knitting Naturally is now offering classes for beginners and intermediate level knitters. Classes are currently held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, alternate days/times for classes will be added as required to meet demand.

Beginners Knitting

Learn the basics of knitting in just a couple of hours. This class covers cast on, knit, purl and cast off techniques. This class is suitable for complete beginners.

Each class costs $30 plus supplies, and runs for 2 hours.

Come along as many times as you need to master the basic knitting techniques.

Intermediate Knitting

Extend your knitting skills with our intermediate class. Learn to read knitting patterns, stitch abbreviations and helpful hints for making perfect garments. This class is suitable for knitters who are competent in the basic skills (see previous entry).

Each class costs $30 plus supplies, and runs for 2 hours.

Finishing Class

This class shows you all those little tricks to make your knitted garment look professional. In the class you will learn how to block your garment, attach zips, pick up stitches neatly, etc. This class is suitable for intermediate level knitters.

Each class costs $45 plus supplies, and runs for 3 hours.

Knitting Circle

Come to this session for the company! Not a formal lesson, just a group of knitters getting together to knit, talk about their projects and share their experiences.

Each session costs $6.00 (to cover the tea, coffee and biscuits) plus supplies and runs for 1½ hours.
