If you are looking for knitting patterns for baby, this pattern book from Patons is worth a second look.
Another one of my favourites!
I have had this pattern book in my collection for a while now and use it often.
I particularly like the hooded jacket and the lovely aran jumper (I am rather fond of baby arans!), but have used many of the other patterns in the book.
The patterns for the beanie and the beret have come in handy as well.
You will find a nice variety patterns knitted in 3, 4, 5 and 8 ply in this pattern book, so there is literally something for everyone.
Personally I prefer 3 and 4 ply patterns but I know some knitters who will always use an 8 plys no matter what type of garment they are making.
If you are anything like me, you are not going to want to buy a baby knitting pattern book unless you can have a look at the designs that are included in the book.

As this particular pattern book has been available for a while now, it might be getting a bit harder to find, but if you can find it I am sure it will be well worth the effort!
As the patterns in this book range from 3 ply up to 8 ply, to knit every garment you would need to invest in quite a few pairs of needles, virtually every size between 2.75mm and 4.00mm.
You might also like to look into buying a couple of stitch holders, and a cable needle. You will need a wool needle for sewing your garment together.
Notice the different look and feel on some pages?
I am currently moving all of the pages to a new CSS driven template but with around 700 pages it is going to take me a while to get it done.
So in the meantime, I hope you will forgive the switch from one look to another as you navigate through the site...
Loom patterns for sweaters for the baby, toddler & small dog. There are adorable booties for babies, super warm slippers for adults, popular doll clothes and more. Knifty knitter looms or any similar in gauge will do.
