Measuring

When it says continue knitting till piece measures 6 inches, do I include the stitches on the needles or measure up to the needles?

YOUR ANSWER

Good Question!

I usually measure up to the needles. I don't really know why, it is just the way I have always done it.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY. I ALWAYS WORRY I AM MEASURING WRONG AND WHEN USING BULKY YARN IT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Notice the different look and feel on some pages?

I am currently moving all of the pages to a new CSS driven template but with around 700 pages it is going to take me a while to get it done.

So in the meantime, I hope you will forgive the switch from one look to another as you navigate through the site...
