Mrs Jean Debois

I want to knit a chevron waistcoat from knitters Mag summer 2007. It seems you knit to cenre st and then KOK ? YOUR ANSWERI hadn't actually seen this abbreviation before so I had to do a bit of a search to find it for you. It seems that a KOK is a double increase, the definition I found is below: KOK: insert the right needle into the next two stitches as though you are going to do a K2tog, and draw up a loop, but don’t remove the old stitch (the K). Next bring the yarn forward between the needles and wrap around the back (the O), and knit the same 2 stitches again, this time removing the old stitch from the left needle (the K). This makes three stitches from one, or a double increase. |
