Trying to match this pattern

Anyone recognize this?
My late mother left behind strips for an unfinished afghan, and though I've been through all my stitch dictionaries, this one isn't coming up -- and the pattern wasn't with the project anymore (naturally). I'd like to finish it for her -- it was intended first for my college dorm room, and later for my oldest son's (he's getting his Ph.D. in June) so she was clearly taking her time. With some time and patience, I know I could figure it out, but if someone knows the pattern, it might actually get me knitting, and maybe my not yet dreamed-of grandchildren could use it someday... YOUR ANSWERI have checked my books and I don't have instructions for this particular stitch pattern, but one of my visitors might. So I am publishing the page hoping that a kind soul will see it and add a comment with instructions for you. Sorry I could be of more help. |
