Here is my ?
I have a spiral pattern and I don't understand this part:

Shape toe as follows:
(K2t, tbl, rib 24 (26:28) K2t (twice)

I don't understand the part about rib 24 (26:28).

YOUR ANSWER

Usually when you see numbers in brackets like this it is because your pattern has instructions for knitting different sizes. In this case, there are three different sizes.

Rib 24 (26: 28) means knit in the rib stitch pattern used for this sock pattern for 24 stitches if you are knitting the first size, 26 stitches if you are knitting the second size and 28 stitches if you are knitting the third size.
